Catarina loves cats. She starts the game with four of them.

With a huge effort to get her to make friends who aren't cats, her Bookworm trait led her to meeting the local librarian, Ariella, and things fell into place from there.

Ariella is Neat and a Music Lover, but also Childish. She's happy to make sure cat litter doesn't get anywhere and silly enough to play with them all.

By Christmas they had their first baby. To have more room for cats and a family, they moved out of Catarina's tiny cat cottage and into a renovated catfood canning factory.

There weren't quite so many cats around by the time Felicia came into their lives.

Bartholomew A. Bittlebun, Jr. and his offspring, Sprinkles.

Ariella changed jobs to conservation while Catarina chased her culinary dream. Felicia's traits come from her parents - Cat Lover and Music Lover.

Ignore my lacking decorating effort and look how cute Felicia is with Sprinkles!

Felicia went partying with the other teens, including one who had some trouble on the way to the venue.

For summer Splash Day they took a trip to Sulani and met a dolphin.

With Catarina a full celebrity chef and Ariella a Chief Sustainability Officer at the tops of their careers, they earned enough to leave the former industrial cannery they lived in on the docks, and moved into the old Widow's Watch house up on the cliffs.

Sprinkles then had kittens of her own, named Pickle and Peanut.

Even though it was the dead of winter with snow piling up, the stray guest room allowed Brindleton Bay's roaming cats a place to sleep and stay warm.

To make sure all the cats were taken care of, Felicia started learning a few vet tech skills.

And, despite their larger house still being a bit bare, Catarina and Ariella earned enough money to set up a cosy little bakery on the lot of Catarina's original house: Catscratch Bakery.

Felicia ran it herself, serving treats, cakes and pies for sale on the boardwalk.

The kittens grew up, and they kept Peanut, giving Pickle away to a family friend.

Catarina knew enough about her pets to make sure they stayed healthy in their old age.

At the end of the year, the whole family, and their cats, counted down to midnight and looked forward to spring.
