Hecking

An ideal couple who dote on their precious pug, Rosie

She's very sweet.

And sometimes shy.

Rosie had pups...

And they had two kids together at the same time.

It was a little hectic, but Brent and Brant were excellent fathers.

The kids, Anita and Freddie.

They've each got a trait from their fathers - Anita is a Dog Lover and Loves Outdoors, while Freddie is an Art Lover and a Romantic.

Freddie just has this weird sinister look sometimes that's taking him out of the running for generation heir.

A family trip to the jungle got Brant a little bit poisoned.

They all managed to get through to the treasure room.

They're just a little cursed! It's still good it's still good!

Both the kids hit their young adult birthdays.

Freddie picked up working as a fisherman.

Anita discovered the Active trait in addition to her natural ones, and due to enjoying the outdoors, started work as a gardener.

She showed herself to be particularly responsible, taking Rosie's offspring Harley out while Freddie preferred to go fishing for hours.

Then Harley had pups of her own.

Anita picked up skills all over the place - Brant mentored her on using exercise equipment, Brant taught her to paint, she started getting good at the guitar, and she cooked steaks for her dads.

Freddie.... he's fine. Don't worry about it.

One of Brent's fellow artists, Ulrike, turned out to be a perfect match for art lover Freddie, and he married her and went to join her little cottage in Windenberg.

Ulrike painted this during the ceremony. Hope that's good!

Anita went out exploring.

She joined a singles night at a club, and met a cutie named Jeremy.

And she did her best at her gardening job, rain or shine, getting promoted to a stem researcher.

The dads both reached the final stage of their careers and enjoyed even more porch barbeques whatever the weather.

Jeremy got on great with Anita's dads, as well as little doggie Pumpkin. He and Anita were so compatible that they became best friends-- but when she tried to hold his hand, he informed her he was gay.

Brent and Brant themselves had nothing much to worry about in their twilight years.

Even the chills of autumn didn't stop Harley from joining Brent in the pool.

And Brant coaxed Anita into dad-dancing after work.

The whole family cooked up Harvestfest dinner, with Freddie dropping in.

While out on the town, Anita ran into another potential romance - this unassuming lad who ticked all her boxes.

She confirmed his attraction to her by becoming woohoo buddies first, and it all seemed to be going great... until the bedtime activities revealed her new partner to actually be an alien.

Then, the next morning, Harley passed away.

Having spent too long tripping up in the dating pool, Anita saw an opportunity through the sadness. After just a little flirting, the Reaper agreed to leave the family with a new soul while claiming the elderly dog's.

And just like that, little Dormarth joined the household.

The Reaper played the newborn a little song before disappearing.

Little Pumpkin watched over Dormarth as he got bigger.

The relationship deepened between Anita and her alien bedbuddy Paxton.

That winter, the family all pitched in to decorate the tree.

When Santa visited on Winterfest Brent made sure to show off his grandson.

And Paxton came to join the family officially, ready to join in with raising the baby.

Not long after Winterfest, Brent ran out of time just as everyone was getting ready for bed.

Brant carried on reading to Dormarth without realising it had happened.

Arriving for Brent, Dormarth got up to greet his dad again.

He was allowed a hug.

The family with one grandfather down.

Brant also passed from old age just a little later.

All together for the new year, the Heckings were a little smaller but still unpredictable.
